--- PEER PRESSURE

Cite one negative peer pressure,(hmmmm) maybe during my elementary days.When my classmates influence me to cut class and play computer instead( i think we are still addicted to BATTLE REALMS that time^^). I decided to come with them because they were my barkada and I thought that it would be okay if we cut class.I'm still happy even though I thought that its not good for an elementary student to such things.

After, that incident it had stil been our habit to cut class, but I then realized that cutting classes would not help us to learn. Then I said to myself "mula nagayon pipigilan ko aking sarili na mkinig sa sinsabi ng iba".

Finally, I changed my attitude about leaving the class.

RESPONSIBILITY!

I describe a responsible person as a who does things responsibly and efficiently. This persons are responsible enough to take up the challenges they are going to encounter. As "a responsible" person at home I help my parents and siblings do some household chores. My responsibilities at school are to study hard and to do the tasks that I'm responsible at.
And my responsibility as a member of the community is to help other persons in our community.

Honesty Is The Best Policy?

As a filipino I also practice the virtue "honesty". The challenge I chose was to return excess change this incident happened last week, when we are riding the tricycle, we are about to pay the fare and the driver gave an excess of 2 pesos. And I return it to him back.

I felt happy because even just for a little thing I practice a virtue which is honesty.

I had realized that even small things can produce big happenings.^^

My Healthy Lifestyle

I plan of having an exercise program for my self so that I will stay fit and active. I will reduce my rice amounts from 4 cups to two. I plan to cut some fats in my diets. I will avoid drinking too much liquor and i will never engage into smoking ( CIGARETTE SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO OUR HEALTH). So that I will not regret the consequences that I'm going to get out of that non sense.

I realize that this things would probably be possible when your family and friends stands at your back. they were the persons who can help you to achieve this goals.

High Score???

The challenge i take was to get a high score in one of my exams.I was able to beat that challenge because I got the highest score in English and Social Science(hmmph...). I felt that I grew a lot and learn new things.

I realized that I can do better things if I do all that I can do.

The Most Challengng Thing I Have Ever Accomplished

The most challenging thing I have ever accomplished is the cooking contest in elementary. I can still remember that sweetest day. It was our Linggo ng Wika when the said contest was held. We must cook a filipino dish. My classmate and I decided to cook "bamboo shoots" with coconut milk(yum,yum....). That was a very exciting day, but we encounter some technical problems, such as, we had came unprepared and we are lack of garnishings to decorate our work.

After all the obstacles we encountered, we still have had won the event.(^^)
That was the most cahallenging that I have accomplished.

OUTSTANDING VIRTUE

I think that my outstanding virtue is punctuality although, sometimes I come late in my classes.
But I always keep in my mind the proverb that my teacher in high school told me; " when you come early you waste your time, if you came late you waste our time, so come on time..."

So I always keep on my mind that I would come neither too early nor too late I always practice to come in an appointment at least 15 minutes early so that, I will not waste the time of the person/s whom I will meet.

Hence, I always come to a meeting early as possible so I will not waste others time.

FIRST WEEK AT MCL...

My first week at MCL hmmmmmm......

It is tiring yet, an incredible week for me.Because we have done a lot of activities with my classmates.Now let's go to the professors, do they really have positive side? I think the answer is yes, like our professor in English she said: " alam niyo I like this section pareho tayong mga sira ulo". She has a very interesting personality and she has a great sense of humor too.("Santa Banana"). Our professors are very approachable and very nice to us even though we are very noisy sometimes, they were very patient to teach us and very understanding too.

The strength of A06:(tantanan tanan tanan tananan)...

We are very cooperative to the those learning tasks and we have a very incredible sense of humor.

We are very energetic in discussion especially in LOGIC and CRITICALTHINKING that is A06's favorite subject.

Our weakness...

we are still very immature in some ways, we are sometimes noisy that our professors don't like it...

Social Science is more easier tahn the other ones because I love history a lot. And the most challenging for me are HUMANITIES and DRAWING because I think this courses are very hard for me because I don't like drawing that much and I think HUMANITIES I haven't like debate since elementary.


I think I have to adjust with my environment for example, I have to cope with the seniors to be able to prolong my stay here and to the professors too.

Values guides us to be a better person someday...
Values is important to help us understand things we need to understand to...
Its a guiding path towards a better future for as to succeed.

For me the importance of Values Education in our curriculum, is that it help students to have virtue in their ways and to partner with excellence will achieve a better success in our future...

Therefore we need this Values Educ. "thing" to help as succeed in the challenges we will face in the future...

MY FIRST DAY IN COLLEGE

Comparing my high school life to my college life...
My life in high school was very meaningful and exciting, because I have my friends to rely on in times of my problem. I envisioned that college would be like this...

... and maybe its all alike because I can't compare my life in college now than in my high school right now, maybe, its because that I'm coping to my classmates on my first week stay in the school. But, I think I will have a more experience after several days, weeks, or even months to cope with my new environment...

Therefore, I will make my stay in college very interesting and memorable...
I will make very day a memorable day in my stay here...
